Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church Serves Marietta, Georgia
Thunderbird School of Global Management graduate Kevin Lilly acted as the senior vice president of sales for MiMedx in Marietta, Georgia, for four years. Outside of his work, Kevin Lilly mentors young people through the Greek Orthodox Youth of America, an organization based in the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church.
Founded in 1988, the first service of the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church took place in a neighboring Presbyterian church in the summer of that year. The church moved into its standalone building in 1993, where it held its first service on Christmas Eve.
Today, the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church serves more than 400 families in the Greek Orthodox community of Marietta, Georgia. The church maintains a mission of proclaiming the gospel in the Greek Orthodox tradition and enhancing parishioners’ spiritual lives. Through a variety of activities, the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church educates members with programs, such as the Greek Orthodox Youth of America.
